Industrial Microwave Heating Equipment Market Report 2020-2030: Forecasts by Equipment (Magnetron, RF Solid State Amplifiers), By Application (Food, Paper, Wood & Derivatives, Plastic, Others), by Region (North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America, Middle East & Africa) and profiling of leading international and domestic companies.

In 2019, the global market size of industrial microwave heating equipment was estimated at USD 1,100 million. Increasing demand is expected to boost the market over the forecast period in numerous end-use industries such as paper, food, plastics, wood, and derivatives, and chemicals. The device is used in various applications such as drying and sterilizing, tempering and blanching, pre-heating of rubber or tyre, foaming of plastic materials, final drying of pulp and/or organic paper, and polymerization.

It is predicted that the industry will experience significant growth, which can be due to the many advantages these goods bring. Selective heating, for example, minimizes over-processing, scorching, or overheating, facilitates a pollution-free environment as there are no combustion by-products, and provides instant heating power.

It is expected that accelerated industrialization and strict government regulations would fuel the demand for urban microwave heating equipment. Governments around the world implement regulations and guidelines for the safe use of microwave / RF equipment for industrial processing and the promotion of energy-efficient products. These laws are also applicable

The demand for commercial microwave heating systems can be split into two product categories, namely magnetrons and solid-state RF amplifiers. Studies show that magnetrons could be replaced over the forecast period by RF solid-state amplifiers due to some of the latter's advantages. As a result, while the magnetron segment captured the largest market share in 2016, growth is expected to be slow due to factors such as uneven heating, decreased end-product quality, limited shelf-life, residual temperature differences, and slow heat transfer.

In the forecast period, the plastic segment is expected to exhibit a CAGR of just over 6.0 percent. Due to the use of industrial microwave heating systems in various procedures such as melting of optical fibers with high polypropylene material, drying casting base, heating of epoxy pipes / tubes and heat-shrinkable molded sections, preheating of plastic profiles, demand in the industry is expected to increase. In several applications, the chemical, pulp, and wood and derivatives industries also use the machinery.
