A lot of semiconductor companies, which have previously not participated in the automotive industry, now develop or have started offering ADAS applications or sensors. As with any new technology, considerable amount of market uncertainty remains, especially how end-users will respond to the advanced computer controls/assist with steering and reaction to critical situation. However, the implementation rate and overall ADAS market prospects are following an inexorable upward trajectory.”
